1. About this Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how 5IP Technology GmbH uses cookies and similar technologies for Due Diligence HQ. It should be read with the Privacy Policy.

A cookie is data stored on or read from a device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags, SDKs and device identifiers.
2. Swiss and international rules
Article 45c of the Swiss Telecommunications Act requires users to be informed about processing on their devices, its purpose and their ability to refuse it. The FADP applies where cookie or similar data is personal data. Where EU or UK rules apply, non-essential storage or access also requires prior consent unless an exception applies.
3. Current first-party cookies
DD HQ currently uses these first-party cookies:
- sessionid — strictly necessary; maintains the authenticated Django session. Normal maximum duration: 14 days. It may end earlier on logout or deletion.
- csrftoken — strictly necessary; protects forms and requests against cross-site request forgery. Maximum duration: 1 year.
- dd_consent_anon — strictly necessary preference record identifier; links an anonymous browser to its latest consent choice. Maximum duration: 1 year.
- dd_consent_set — strictly necessary preference flag; prevents the banner from repeatedly appearing after a choice. Maximum duration: 1 year.
Cookie names may carry a deployment-specific prefix or security attribute without changing their purpose. Necessary cookies use Secure in HTTPS production, SameSite=Lax and, where compatible with their function, HttpOnly.
4. Optional analytics
If a Google Tag Manager container is configured, the container is not loaded until analytics consent has been recorded. Google Tag Manager is a tag loader; any analytics tag enabled in the container may set its own cookies. Before such a tag is activated, this Policy and the preference interface must be updated with the provider, cookie names, purposes and durations. DD HQ does not load analytics tags for a user who has not opted in.
5. Optional marketing
The consent system can record a marketing preference, but the application does not load a marketing tag by default. If marketing or advertising technology is introduced, it will remain disabled until the required opt-in and its provider, purposes, cookies and durations will be added to this Policy.
6. Third-party services
When you choose Google sign-in, Google may use cookies on its own domains during authentication under its own notice. When you open a Stripe-hosted checkout, billing portal or invoice page, Stripe may use cookies on its domains for payment security and service delivery. These third-party cookies are controlled by the relevant provider and are not set by the DD HQ domain.
7. Your choices
On first visit, you can reject non-essential technologies or accept optional categories. Necessary cookies cannot be disabled in the DD HQ preference tool because the Service cannot securely operate without them. You can change optional choices at any time through the public Cookie Preferences page. Withdrawing consent affects future processing and does not make earlier consent-based processing unlawful.
You may also block or delete cookies in browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies can prevent login, form submission or other functions. Global browser signals are respected where legally required and technically applicable to a configured provider.
8. Consent records
We record the selected categories, policy version, time, source and an account or anonymous identifier to demonstrate and apply the choice. The IP address recorded with a consent event is removed after 90 days. Consent-choice cookies expire after 1 year, after which the banner may ask again.
9. Changes and contact
We update this Policy when cookie use or legal requirements change. Material additions to optional technologies are not activated for an existing user without the consent required at that time.
